Roland Powell was born on 12^th June 1977, in Duval County Jacksonville, Florida USA, with his stage name of Lil Duval, for which he is best known, actually being a tribute to his birthplace. Lil Duval is a stand-up comedian, rapper and actor, who made his national debut in 2005, when he arrived in the semi-finals of “Coming to the Stage”, a BET comedy competition series. People can now see him on television in the shows “Guy Code” and “Hip Hop Squares”. In 2013, he started his own television show on MTV2, called “Ain’t That America”, which made him known all over the world. His show is the second highest rated program in the channel’s history.
